Watched this in 4D and it was pretty thrilling.
The story, characters, voice acting and animation were all really good.
A sensational Disney film that dares to top all other Disney films before it, it tackles the issue of discrimination with refreshing humor, wit, and just the right amount of sweetness that makes you think, “Where did all this maturity and comedy come from?”
It really was a surprising film, but definitely in a good way.
I watched this during a particularly challenging part of my college life and it was a big factor in lightening up my mood. Though I say that, the film is also a technical marvel with its animation perfectly embodying each of the already well-characterized emotions.
Though Disney movies typically feature fun-filled stories and lovable characters (with this movie featuring Baymax), what made the movie exceed expectations is the novel, successful intertwining of Japanese and American culture in the form of San Fransokyo.
